Cal. Health & Safety Code § 13887

Elections

Known as the Fire Protection District Law

Added by Stats. 1987, Ch. 1013, Sec. 11.

The expense of an election on the question of the formation of a district shall be paid by the county if the proposition fails. If the formation is approved, the expense shall be a charge against the district and repaid to the county from the first moneys collected by the district. The expense of all other elections shall be a charge against the district.
