Known as the Carpenter-Presley-Tanner Hazardous Substance Account Act

The act spans §§ 78000–81050 (357 sections).

Added by Stats. 2022, Ch. 257, Sec. 2

(a) The lien shall contain the legal description of the real property, the assessor’s parcel number, and the name of the owner of record, as shown on the latest equalized assessment roll.

(b) The lien shall also contain a legal description of the property that is the site of the hazardous substance release, the assessor’s parcel number for that property, and the name of the owner of record, as shown on the latest equalized assessment roll, of that property.
