Cal. Ins. Code § 717.1

Certificate of Authority

Added by Stats. 1980, Ch. 262, Sec. 1.

Where the applicant is a wholly owned domestic subsidiary of an admitted domestic insurer the commissioner shall issue a certificate of authority to such applicant within 180 days of application unless the commissioner shall have made a finding that the applicant is substantially deficient in respect to one or more of the items set forth in Section 717.
