Definitions

Known as the California Coastal Act

The act spans §§ 30000–30900 (326 sections).

Added by Stats. 1976, Ch. 1330.

“Wetland” means lands within the coastal zone which may be covered periodically or permanently with shallow water and include saltwater marshes, freshwater marshes, open or closed brackish water marshes, swamps, mudflats, and fens.
