General Provisions

Known as the Methane Gas Hazards Reduction Act

The act spans §§ 3850–3865 (10 sections).

Added by Stats. 1987, Ch. 1322, Sec. 3.

The Legislature finds and declares that methane gas hazards, as identified in the study conducted pursuant to Chapter 4.1 (commencing with Section 3240) of Chapter 1, are a clear and present threat to public health and safety.
