California Recreational Trails

Known as the California Recreational Trails Act

The act spans §§ 5070–5077 (28 sections).

Amended by Stats. 1982, Ch. 994, Sec. 9.

The plan shall contain, but shall not be limited to, the following elements:

(a) Pedestrian trails.

(b) Bikeways.

(c) Equestrian trails.

(d) Boating trails.

(e) Trails and areas suitable for use by physically disabled persons, the elderly, and others in need of graduated trails, especially along designated heritage corridors.

(f) Cross-country skiing trails.

(g) Heritage corridors.
