Terms and Compensation of Directors

Known as the The Public Utility District Act

The act spans §§ 15501–18055 (309 sections).

Added by Stats. 1953, Ch. 72.

On the first Tuesday after their election and qualification, the directors shall meet and classify themselves by lot, so that the largest possible minority shall hold office for two years, and a majority for four years. Thereafter at each biennial district election their successors shall be elected for the term of four years.
