Known as the Local Transportation Authority and Improvement Act

Added by Stats. 1987, Ch. 786, Sec. 1.

(a) The authority shall rely, to the extent possible, on existing state, regional, and local transportation planning and programming data and expertise, rather than on a large duplicative staff and set of plans.

(b) The authority shall not expend more than 1 percent of the funds generated pursuant to this division in any year for salary and benefits of its staff.
