Citizens’ Advisory Committees

Known as the Southern California Rapid Transit District Law

Added by Stats. 1984, Ch. 725, Sec. 1.

(a) The district shall designate the area to be represented by each citizens’ advisory committee, with a separate area for any identifiable segment of a rail transit system and for any identifiable area in the district in which rail transportation is not currently contemplated.

(b) “Identifiable segment of a rail transit system” means an area of a communality of interest surrounding a station structure or structures and the lines between structures.
