Known as the San Joaquin Regional Transit District Act

The act spans §§ 50000–50507 (187 sections).

Added by Stats. 1963, Ch. 839.

The petition shall contain substantially the same declarations and statements required to be contained in the resolution presented to the board of supervisors under this chapter, including the description of the boundaries, and declare that, in the opinion of the petitioners, public interest or necessity demands the creation and maintenance of the metropolitan transit district.
