Cal. Water Code § 37826

The Merger

Known as the Westlands Water District Merger Law

The act spans §§ 37800–37861 (23 sections).

Added by Stats. 1965, Ch. 746.

Upon the merger, the surviving district succeeds to all properties, rights, and contracts of each of the two districts and any funds to which it succeeds may be expended and properly disposed of as provided by law for California water districts generally.
