Cal. Water Code § 44105

Dissolution or Change of Boundaries

Known as the California Water Storage District Law

A contract between the district and the state, the department, any other district, or the United States may provide that the district shall not be dissolved nor shall the boundaries be changed except upon the written consent of the state, the department, any other district, or a specified official of the United States, filed with the official records of the district. If the consent of the state, the department, any other district, or the United States official is given and land is excluded, the areas excluded shall be free from all liens and charges for payments to become due to the state, the department, any other district, or the United States under the contract.
