The county may continue to provide case management and services to either a recipient of aid under this chapter not participating under Article 3.2 (commencing with Section 11320) or a former recipient of aid under this chapter who has received aid within the previous 12 months if a recipient or former recipient is employed, in order to assist the individual in retaining employment. These job retention services may be provided for up to 12 months after the first day of employment, to the extent they are not provided by the employer, the entity that arranged the job placement, if other than the county, and, to the extent that the services are not available from other sources.
