Civil Commitment of Minors

Known as the Children’s Civil Commitment and Mental Health Treatment Act

The act spans §§ 5585–5585 (13 sections).

Added by Stats. 1988, Ch. 1202, Sec. 2.

For the purposes of this part, legally emancipated minors requiring involuntary treatment shall be considered adults and this part shall not apply.
