C.R.S. § 10-11-107

Known as the Title Insurance Code

The act spans §§ 10-11-101 to 10-11-203 (30 sections).

(1) Every title insurance company has the following powers: (a) To do the business defined in section 10-11-102 (3) and (8); (b) To own, manage, and maintain sets of abstract books and to make, compile, and sell abstracts of title to real estate; (c) To acquire by purchase or otherwise, and to hold, sell, mortgage, or otherwise dispose of, real estate and personal property, or any interest therein, either within or without the state of Colorado and to loan or borrow money upon such real estate or personal property.
