(1) This article 145 does not apply to a person who only authorizes a person to hunt, fish, or take wildlife on property the person owns, rents, or leases, including providing the authorization for compensation. (2) This article 145 does not require a person to register as an outfitter if the person only rents motor vehicles, livestock, or equipment.
