C.R.S. § 13-21-127

Civil damages for human trafficking and involuntary servitude

(1) In addition to all other remedies, a victim, as defined in section 18-3-502 (12), C.R.S., is entitled to recover damages proximately caused by any person who commits human trafficking for involuntary servitude, as described in section 18-3-503 , C.R.S., or human trafficking for sexual servitude, as described in section 18-3-504 , C.R.S. (2) A conviction for human trafficking for involuntary servitude, as described in section 18-3-503 , C.R.S., or human trafficking for sexual servitude, as described in section 18-3-504 , C.R.S., is not a condition precedent to maintaining a civil action pursuant to the provisions of this section.
