(1) Subject to subsection (2) of this section, a Canadian judgment registered under section 13-62.3-104 has the same effect provided in section 13-62-107 for a judgment determined by a court to be entitled to recognition. (2) A Canadian judgment registered under section 13-62.3-104 may not be enforced by sale or other disposition of property, or by seizure of property or garnishment, until thirty-five calendar days after service of notice of registration under section 13-62.3-106 . The court for cause may provide for a shorter or longer time. This subsection (2) does not preclude use of relief available under law of this state other than this article 62.3 to prevent dissipation, disposition, or removal of property.
