(1) This article applies to guardianship and protective proceedings begun on or after May 14, 2008. (2) Parts 1, 3, and 4 of this article and sections 15-14.5-501 and 15-14.5-502 apply to proceedings begun before May 14, 2008, regardless of whether a guardianship or protective order has been issued.
