C.R.S. § 18-3.5-103

Unlawful termination of pregnancy in the first degree

Known as the Colorado Criminal Code

The act spans §§ 18-10-101–18-9-314 (590 sections).

(1) A person commits the offense of unlawful termination of pregnancy in the first degree if, with the intent to terminate unlawfully the pregnancy of a woman, the person unlawfully terminates the woman’s pregnancy. (2) Unlawful termination of pregnancy in the first degree is a class 3 felony but is a class 2 felony if the woman dies as a result of the unlawful termination of a pregnancy. (3) A defendant convicted pursuant to subsection (1) of this section shall be sentenced by the court in accordance with the provisions of section 18-1.3-406 .
