C.R.S. § 22-2-103

(1) The department of education shall include the following: (a) The state board of education; (b) The commissioner of education, assistant commissioners of education, and other officers and employees of the department; (c) The state library, created in section 24-90-104 , C.R.S.; (d) The Colorado school for the deaf and the blind, as provided for in article 80 of this title; (e) The state charter school institute established in section 22-30.5-503 ; (f) The division of online learning established in section 22-30.7-103 ; (g) The office of facility schools created in section 22-2-403 ; (h) The facility schools board created in section 22-2-404 ; (i) The Colorado state advisory council for parent involvement in education created in section 22-7-303 ; (j) The office of dropout prevention and student re-engagement created in section 22-14-103 ; and (k) The concurrent enrollment advisory board created in section 22-35-107 .
