C.R.S. § 22-44-303

As used in this part 3, unless the context otherwise requires: (1) “Board of cooperative services” or “BOCES” means a board of cooperative services created pursuant to article 5 of this title 22. (2) “Charter school” means a district charter school authorized pursuant to part 1 of article 30.5 of this title 22 or an institute charter school authorized pursuant to part 5 of article 30.5 of this title 22. (3) “Department” means the department of education created and operating pursuant to section 24-1-115 . (4) “Institute” means the state charter school institute established pursuant to section 22-30.5-503 . (5) “School district” means a school district, other than a local college district, organized and existing as provided by law.
