C.R.S. § 22-5-103

As used in this article, unless the context otherwise requires: (1) “Board” means the board of education of a school district or the governing board or governing agency of a postsecondary institution. (2) “Board of cooperative services” or “BOCES” means a regional educational service unit designed to provide supporting, instructional, administrative, facility, community, or any other services contracted by participating members. (2.3) “District charter school” means a charter school authorized by a school district board of education pursuant to part 1 of article 30.5 of this title. (2.5) Repealed. (2.7) “Institute charter school” means a charter school authorized by the state charter school institute pursuant to part 5 of article 30.5 of this title. (3) “Postsecondary institution” means a community or technical college, a local district college, or a state-supported institution of higher education. (4) “School district” means any public school district existing pursuant to law. (5) “State board” means the state board of education.
