C.R.S. § 23-1-101.1

As used in this article 1, unless the context otherwise requires: (1) “Commission” means the Colorado commission on higher education created and existing pursuant to this article. (2) “Department of higher education” or “department” means the department of higher education created and existing pursuant to section 24-1-114 , C.R.S. (3) “Executive director” means the office of the executive director of the Colorado commission on higher education created and existing pursuant to section 24-1-114 , C.R.S. (4) “Legacy preference” means a preference given by a higher education institution to certain applicants on the basis of their familial relationship to alumni of that institution.
