C.R.S. § 24-33.5-1501

(1) The general assembly hereby finds and declares that the implementation of the federal “Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act of 1986”, 42 U.S.C. sec. 11001 et seq., Title III of the federal “Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act of 1986”, Pub.L. 99-499, is a matter of statewide concern. (2) The department of public safety is the state agency responsible for the implementation of the federal “Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act of 1986”, 42 U.S.C. sec. 11001 et seq., Title III of the federal “Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act of 1986”, Pub.L. 99-499, and regulations thereunder, as amended.
