C.R.S. § 24-4.1-406

Known as the Colorado Crime Victim Compensation Act

The act spans §§ 24-4.1-100.1 to 24-4.1-502 (49 sections).

(1) On or before September 1, 2022, and on or before each March 1 thereafter, a certifying agency that receives a request for a certification shall report to the division of criminal justice in the department of public safety on an annual basis and in aggregate form, subject to the restrictions set forth in section 24-4.1-404 , the following: (a) The number of requests for certification received; (b) The number of certifications that were signed; (c) The total number that were denied; (d) The number of certifications that were denied for each reason specified pursuant to section 24-4.1-403 (7); and (e) The number of decisions that fell outside the prescribed completion deadlines. (2) The division shall make the reports available to the public upon request.
