C.R.S. § 24-60-2205

(1) Except as otherwise provided in this part 22, the department shall be the agency responsible for administration of this part 22 on behalf of the state. (2) Except as otherwise provided in this part 22, all facilities shall be subject to the provisions on radiation control set forth in part 1 of article 11 of title 25 , C.R.S., and the provisions on solid wastes disposal sites and facilities set forth in part 1 of article 20 of title 30 , C.R.S. The disposal of low-level radioactive waste made pursuant to this part 22 is not subject to the provisions of part 2 of article 11 of title 25 , C.R.S.
