Legislative declaration

Known as the Colorado Licensing of Controlled Substances Act

The act spans §§ 27–27 (51 sections).

The general assembly finds, determines, and declares that strict control of controlled substances within this state is necessary for the immediate and future preservation of the public peace, health, and safety and that the licensing, record-keeping, penalty, and other provisions contained in this part 2 are necessary for the achievement of such control.
