C.R.S. § 9-5.5-109

Known as the Elevator and Escalator Certification Act

The act spans §§ 9-5.5-101 to 9-5.5-120 (20 sections).

(1) A certification issued pursuant to this article may be suspended or revoked upon a finding by the administrator of any of the following: (a) A false statement in the application concerning a material matter; (b) Fraud, misrepresentation, or bribery in applying for certification; (c) Failure to notify the owner or lessee of a conveyance and the administrator or approved local jurisdiction, if any, of a condition not in compliance with this article; or (d) A violation of any provision of this article or of any rule adopted pursuant to this article. (2) The suspension or revocation of a license shall be made as a result of a notice of violation in accordance with section 8-20-104 , C.R.S. (3) The administrator shall not issue a license to a person whose license has been revoked within the last two years.
