Conn. Gen. Stat. § 1-26

Construction of bond requirement

(1949 Rev., S. 3577; 1967, P.A. 549, S. 6.) History: 1967 act added “except as otherwise provided by the general statutes”.

Except as otherwise provided by the general statutes, whenever any person is by law required to give a bond, such requirement shall mean a bond with surety.
