On and after July 1, 2023, any local health department, district department of health, youth service bureau established pursuant to section 10-19m , municipal social service agency or other youth-serving organization approved by the Department of Children and Families, in collaboration with the Department of Education, may administer the peer-to-peer mental health support program developed pursuant to section 10-211a . The entity administering the program shall select one or more employees to complete the training described in section 10-211a . The program shall be provided to participating students in grades six to twelve, inclusive.
