(a) For the school years commencing July 1, 2023, and July 1, 2024, each local and regional board of education may adopt and implement the Connecticut school climate policy in accordance with the provisions of sections 10-222aa to 10-222ii , inclusive, in lieu of implementing the provisions of sections 10-222d , 10-222g to 10-222i , inclusive, 10-222k and 10-222p .
(b) For the school year commencing July 1, 2025, and each school year thereafter, each local and regional board of education shall adopt and implement the Connecticut school climate policy in accordance with the provisions of sections 10-222aa to 10-222ii , inclusive.
