Conn. Gen. Stat. § 34-243i

Effective date. Application to existing relationships

Known as the Connecticut Uniform Limited Liability Company Act

(a) Except as provided in subsection (b) of this section, on and after July 1, 2017, sections 34-243 to 34-283d , inclusive, govern all limited liability companies.

(b) For purposes of applying the provisions of sections 34-243 to 34-283d , inclusive, to a limited liability company formed before July 1, 2017: (1) The company's articles of organization are deemed to be the company's certificate of organization; and (2) for purposes of applying the provisions of subdivision (14) of section 34-243a and subject to subsection (d) of section 34-243f , language in the company's articles of organization designating the company's management structure operates as if that language were in the operating agreement.
