Any officer who shall fail or refuse to make, subscribe, and swear, or to file with the Department of Financial Services a report of all fees, commissions, or other remuneration collected, as required by law, or if any officer shall knowingly or willfully make false or incomplete reports, or in any report violate any of the provisions of s. 116.03 he or she shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.
