Fla. Stat. § 155.22

County hospitals; purposes are public

The purpose for which any county hospital established under the provisions of this law shall be used are hereby declared public purposes. Such purposes shall include the operation and maintenance of ambulance service in any county where the board of county commissioners so authorizes.
