Fraudulently connecting parts of genuine instrument

Whoever fraudulently connects together parts of several banknotes, checks, drafts, or other genuine instruments in such a manner as to produce one additional note, check, draft, or instrument, with intent to pass all of them as genuine, commits forgery as if each of them had been falsely made or forged.
