Fla. Stat. § 941.42

Extradition of persons alleged to be of unsound mind; purpose of law

Known as the Uniform Criminal Extradition Law

The act spans §§ 941.01 to 941.57 (49 sections).

This law is remedial and shall be in addition and as a supplement to any and all existing methods of procedure, including reciprocal agreements between this state and any other state for the transfer of persons of unsound mind; and shall be so interpreted and construed as to effectuate its general purpose to make uniform the law of those states which enact it.
