O.C.G.A. § 10-12-20

Chapter modifies, limits, and supersedes Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act

Known as the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act

The act spans §§ 10-12-1 to 10-12-9 (20 sections).

2009, a misspelling of “Commerce” was Code 1981, § 10-12-20, enacted by Ga. corrected and a minor punctuation change L. 2009, p. 698, § 1/HB 126. was made in this Code section.

This chapter modifies, limits, and supersedes the federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act, 15 U.S.C. Section 7001, et seq., but does not modify, limit, or supersede Section 101(c) of that act, 15 U.S.C. Section 7001(c), or authorize electronic delivery of any of the notices described in Section 103(b) of that act, 15 U.S.C. Section 7003(b).
