Should any party required by Code Section 10-4-76 to make an affidavit as to an adverse lien, title, or claim to cotton offered to a warehouseman for storage make a false affidavit, he shall be guilty ofa
felony and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by imprisonment and labor in the penitentiary for not less than three years nor more than ten years.
