When jeopardy attaches

— Code 1981, § 15-11-480, enacted by Ga

(a) When a child enters a denial to a petition alleging his or her delinquency, jeopardy attaches when the first witness is sworn at the

adjudication hearing.

(b) When a child enters an admission to a petition alleging his or her delinquency, jeopardy attaches when the court accepts the admission.
