Whenever the sheriff transfers cash bonds to the clerk of the court, pursuant to Code Section 15-16-27, the clerk of the probate court shall deposit such funds into interest-bearing trust accounts, and the interest from those funds shall be remitted to the Georgia Superior Court Clerks’ Cooperative Authority in accordance with subsections (c) through (i) of Code Section 15-6-76.1 for distribution to the Georgia
Public Defender Council.
