All municipal courts having authority to try offenses against the laws of the municipal corporations in which such courts are located shall

have the power and authority:

(1) To impose fines upon persons convicted of such offenses, with the alternative of other punishment allowed by law, in the event that

such fines are not paid;

(2) To sentence such person to community service work; or

(3) To impose a sentence consisting of any combination of the penalties provided for in this Code section.
