Uniform Motor Vehicle Certificate of Title and Anti-Theft Act (U.L.A.) § 38.
Unless another penalty is provided in this chapter:
(1) A person convicted of a felony for the violation of a provision of
this chapter shall be punished by a fine of not less than $500.00 nor more than $5,000.00, or by imprisonment for not less than one year nor more than five years, or by both such fine and imprisonment;
(2) A person convicted of a misdemeanor for the violation of a provision of this chapter shall be punished as provided in Code Section 17-10-3.
