discretion had seen fit to elect had no legal status since former Code 1933, § 84-702 (see now O.C.G.A. § 43-11-2) clearly imposed upon the joint-secretary the duty to bring together and keep records relating to the several boards, to receive all applications for licenses, and to collect all fees required by law. 1963-65 Ga. It shall be the duty of the board to meet annually at the close of the session of a majority of the dental colleges and to hold such other meetings as the duties of the board may require. It shall also be the duty of the board to meet in any called meeting that may be ordered in writing by not less than three members of the board, or by its president, upon not less than 15 days’ notice in writing, stating the time, place, and object of such called meeting.
