Adjudicative hearings before board

(a) The board may initiate proceedings under this chapter either on

its own motion or on the complaint of any person.

(b) Notice, rules of procedure, right to review, and any other matters arising with respect to all adjudicative hearings conducted by the board

shall be determined in accordance with Chapter 13 of Title 50, the “Georgia Administrative Procedure Act.”

(c) Before the board shall revoke or suspend a license, a certificate, or substantial equivalency practice privileges, it shall provide for a hearing for the holder of such license, certificate, or practice privileges in accordance with Chapter 13 of Title 50, the “Georgia Administrative Procedure Act.” Any person who has exhausted all administrative remedies available within this chapter and who is aggrieved by a final decision in a contested case shall be entitled to judicial review in accordance with Chapter 13 of Title 50.

(d) Initial judicial review of a final decision of the board shall be held solely in the superior court of the county of domicile of the State Accounting Office.
