Medicaid investigations recovery fund; established

There is established in the state treasury the medicaid investigations recovery fund as a special fund, and which is to be administered by the department of the attorney general, into which shall be deposited all funds that have been recovered as a result of medicaid fraud settlements. Moneys from this special fund shall be used to support a portion of operating expenses of the medicaid fraud unit within the department of the attorney general.
