Judicial relief

Known as the Uniform Health-Care Decisions Act

The act spans §§ 327–327 (16 sections).

L 1999, c 169, pt of §1

On petition of a patient, the patient's agent, guardian, or surrogate, or a health-care provider or institution involved with the patient's care, any court of competent jurisdiction may enjoin or direct a health-care decision or order other equitable relief. A proceeding under this section shall be governed by part 3 of article V of chapter 560.
