Law as exercise of police power

L 1949, c 146, pt of §1; RL 1955, §91-15; HRS §381-14

This chapter shall be deemed an exercise of the police power of the State for the protection of the public welfare, safety, prosperity, health, and peace of the people; and all of the provisions of the chapter shall be liberally construed for the accomplishment of such purposes.
