Haw. Rev. Stat. § 39-73

Consent of governmental agencies

L 1988, c 28, pt of §3

It shall not be necessary for any department proceeding pursuant to this part to obtain any certificate of convenience or necessity, franchise, license, permit, or other authorization from any bureau, board, commission, or other like instrumentality of the State or its political subdivisions in order to acquire, construct, purchase, reconstruct, improve, better, extend, maintain, and operate an undertaking.
