Pawnbroker liability

L 1992, c 192, pt of §2

Where the pawnbroker has exercised reasonable care in holding pledged goods, a pawnbroker's liability shall be limited to twice the original pawn amount or replacement in kind, at the pawnbroker's option, where the pledged goods have become lost, damaged, or stolen.
